About VibeKorea — Korea Travel Tips for International Visitors

🇰🇷 About VibeKorea

A practical, first-hand guide to Korea — for international travelers who want the real picture, not just the highlights.

📖 What Is VibeKorea?

VibeKorea is an English-language blog covering Korea travel tips and Korean culture — written specifically for international visitors navigating Korea for the first time or the fifth time.

This is not a content farm. Every article is based on direct personal experience, on-site verification, or first-hand guidance provided to foreign guests visiting Korea. Our goal is simple: give you the clearest, most accurate, and most practical Korea guide available in English — with real prices, real schedules, and honest trade-offs.

We cover the full journey — from the moment you land at Incheon Airport, through getting around the country, to eating, exploring, and experiencing what makes Korea genuinely worth the trip.

✍️ About the Author

I am a Korean woman in my late 50s, based in Korea, with decades of experience living in and around Daejeon and Sejong City. My husband is a software developer — together we research, verify, and occasionally build tools to make the information in this blog more useful and more accurate than anything else out there.

My background in this space comes from:

  • Years of regular travel between Daejeon / Sejong and Incheon Airport — by bus, KTX, and every combination in between
  • Hosting and guiding foreign guests visiting Korea for company events, helping them navigate transportation, language barriers, and cultural differences
  • Being a longtime Sungsimdang regular — we visited three branches in a single day on May 9, 2026, personally verifying every price, wait time, and product detail in our bakery series
  • Co-developing free tools for international visitors (see below)

I write everything from personal experience or from sitting with foreign guests and watching exactly where they get confused. That's the gap this blog exists to close.
